Teaching practice

Teaching Practice 1. Procedures of Teaching - Write out the expectations all sports learning seems to be the same everywhere but teaching methods will determine success in learning, in Thailand language limitations are a problem but can be covered with body language skills because sports education has the same basics, so if I explain to students I have to practice it , in Thailand I like to apply learning theory while doing it because sports education is a practice, so success is judged by students' ability to do it. - Prepare Visuals Very helpful for learning success, I can use pictures as a tool learning, and practice directly so students can do it -Teaching Procedures learning while doing and making learning as interesting as possible with the game, because there are no teaching hours in class so that it is immediately practiced in the field. -Practice Procedures the learning process starts with warm up then prepares the tools, then explai

Tai Dam Cultural Village & Museum ~ Loei

Gambar
Traditional Clothes Tai  Dam Visiting the Tai Dam Cultural Village & Museum in Loei (found in the Chiang Khan district) was a highlight for me, as well as my traveling group. But it's not really much of a destination in and of itself, so make sure you have some other things when doing this little road trip. Anyway ... The Tai Dam Cultural Village is home to an ethic minority that came to Thailand from Laos in 1905. Their traditional lifestyle has been maintained through their arts and crafts. The village center offers a range of old-weaving process. People more intent on an anthropological experience can stay with the Tai Dam in their village. Our group visited both the museum and gift shop area, as well as a place where the traditional roof roof is on display, and the former was definitely the more interesting attraction. The museum is a dusty 2nd floor area in the main house, and nothing much is explained in English, but it's easy to get the gist of it all. In the oth

Chiang Khan

Gambar
Chiang Khan will not be on the radar for most Western visitors to Thailand. The reason is that the town lies in a remote region in the north, right on the banks of the River Mekong and just across the river from the border with Laos. The only westerners who will commonly pass through this part of Thailand are the backpackers and travellers en route to Laos and maybe to other countries in southeast Asia. But Chiang Khan is very well known to Thai nationals as a popular place to visit for a domestic, culturally interesting vacation. Perhaps its closest equivalent for Brits would be a weekend break in an old heritage town such as historic Stratford-upon-Avon; and for Americans, a short break in colonial Williamsburg in Virginia, or some such place. But in truth perhaps there is no direct comparison. Chiang Khan is the place Thais go to see old Thailand - not the historic ruins of great temples and palaces, but traditional style dwellings. Not great royal festivals, but arts and craf

Huai Krathing Reservoir

Gambar
Initially created for irrigation purposes, the lake is now a recreation area that mainly draws locals looking to kick back and relax. On the western shore, a couple of countryside kitchens cook authentic Isaan fare and deliver it to your own floating pavilion. With open sides and thatch roofs, the salas floats on pontoons and come with straw mats and a few old pillows. In the traditional way, eating is done while sitting on the floor. If you order fish, a live one will be plucked from a netted-off corner of the lake, and many of the veggies are grown here as well. No English is spoken and the menu is only in Thai, so be sure to bring a phrasebook if you don't know your way around Isaan cuisine. The massive portions are usually served with a big basketball of Khao niao (sticky rice). In addition to staples like tam tam (green papaya salad), laap (spicy salad with minced chicken, pork or duck) and suup-naw-mai (bamboo shoot salad), you can order the frightening but delicious ku

PE's Teacher Ability

Gambar
PE's Teacher Ability A. Pedagogical abilities 1. Teaching Method From my observations, Physical Education teachers in elementary schools used the method of learning while playing. Where students will play a direct role in teaching and learning activities, the physical education teacher is also very creative in providing teaching and he has taught there for about 10 years. 2. Learning and Innovation Materials From what I observed, when the Physical Education teacher at the Basic Laboratory School taught, he used various types of learning media and even students could be made as a leap media to train the leg muscle strength of students. 3. Learning and Technology Sources From what I observed, the teacher obtained learning material through textbooks in school, library, internet, and his experience. 4. Authentic Assessment The teacher will provide an assessment for the student's performance after the material has been completed, before moving to th
